Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eddie Pierce of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 85, on August 15, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Pierce, Sr. and Bernice Cook Pierce. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Pierce (Paula) of Hallsboro and Lisa Parrish (Michael) of Pfafftown, NC; his sister Elaine Pierce Kirkman of Wingate, NC; his grandchildren, Jamie Pierce (Kristin), Brian Pierce (Morgan), Tanner Parrish (Catherine), Ryan Parrish and Landon Parrish; and his great grandchildren, Kynleigh Pierce, Olivia Pierce, Henry Pierce and Kamryn Pierce.

“Jimmy. Lisa and family, how sorry I was last night to hear of your dad's death. He was always a nice guy and I remember when he ran the station on the "corner". He was buzzing from car to car pumping gas, checking oil, washing windshields or whatever else the customer needed. It's been a long time since guys like Eddie took care of their customers in this manner. Thinking of you at this time. May God give you comfort. Liz White”
