She was predeceased by: her parents, Gola Canady and Linnie Watts Canady; her husband Lewis Sellers; and her brothers, Ernest and Lloyd Canady.
She is survived by: her children, Lewis E. "Plute" Sellers, Jr. (Rita) and Diane Willis of Durham; her grandchildren, Travis Pomeroy, Jarrett Pomeroy (Preeti), Shannon Sellers (Alex), Drake Long and Lucas Long; and her great grandchildren, Sienna Bryant, Easton Bryant and Banks Sluyter.
