She was predeceased by: her parents, John Noecker and Dorothy Noecker. She is survived by: her husband John J. McDonough, Jr. (Jack); her children, Meta Matthews (Mark) of Loganville, Julia Neisler of Aventura, Jack McDonough (Belinda) of Marietta and Mayla Thom (Patrick) of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Christoper Zawol, Virginia Thom, Patrick Thom, John McDonough and Lucy McDonough; her great grandchild Scarlett Zawol; and her sisters, Joan Cooley of Lake Ariel and Sally Hinkle (Jim) of Atlanta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
