He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Calvin; his siblings, Bobbie Rimmer and Bud Sherrill; and his granddaughter Diamond Alexander. He is survived by: his parent Grace Ramer Sherrill; his wife Betty Sherrill; his children, Donald Bollinger of Hendersonville and Laura Sherrill (Bryan Reece) of Rosman; his sisters, Martha Reed (Sam) of Edneyville, NC and Jo Merrill of Hendersonville; and his grandchildren, Joy Vaughn, Matthew Bollinger and David Bollinger. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
