He is survived by: his mother Florence Nicholson Henline of Rosman; his wife Helen Murphy Shelton; his children, Arthur Daniel "Chip" Shelton (Dorothy) of Lake Toxaway, Kelly Shelton of Lake Toxaway and Chase Shelton of Lake Toxaway; his siblings, Veronica Borton (Glen) of Central, SC, Eugene Shelton of Brevard and Welch Shelton (Patricia); his grandchildren, Ryan Carter, Ethan Shelton and Emily Shelton; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Hannah and Rebekah.
