He is survived by: his parents, Guynell Wright Vess and Reggie Vess; his sister Regina Smith (Robby); his nephew Bryan (Amanda); his great-nephew Jackson; his great-nieces, Lina and Gloria Duncan (Richard); and also, Cara (William), Mackenzie (Will), Katie and Rose.
