He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McCarthy and Gertrude McCarthy; his son Larry McCarthy; and his brother Larry McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Diana Rocke McCarthy; his children, Kelley Howard (Robert), Melissa Davila (Tony), Michael McCarthy (Ruth) and Patrick McCarthy (Kim); his daughter-in-law Chana McCarthy; his stepchildren, Merritt Lloyd Ripley (Adam), Jennifer Waldrop (Mark), Martin A. Lloyd and Jeffrey T. Rocke; and his stepgranddaughter Janice Pohl.
