Jeffrey Ray Wardsworth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Ray Wardsworth of Lake Lure, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeffrey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassell Ray Wardsworth, Jr. and Connie Pittman Wardsworth of Roanoke Rapids, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Floyd Wardsworth (Dot) of Lake Lure, NC; his stepmother Janie Allen Wardsworth of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his pets, Sophie, Alfie Bo and Ramsey.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Lukes Historic Church (14477 Benns Church Blvd, Smithfield, VA 23430).
