Rachel Bishop Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Bishop (Lake Junaluska, North Carolina), born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Buchanan and Luna Cowan Buchanan; and her husband Billy Bishop. She is survived by: her children, Malene Nolte (Bill Nolte) of Clyde and Bruce Bishop (Camille) of Macon, Georgia; her brother Harold "Dempsey" Buchanan (Linda) of Sylva; and her grandchildren, Cameron Bishop (Aubrey), Dr. Catherine Gardner (Casey), William and Cecil Nolte. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
