With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne Rooks of Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, who passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Rooks and John James. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Evans (Michael Gniadek) of Boone, NC, Heidi Christensen of Deer Park, Jennifer Perry (Andrew Berg) of Citra and John Mark Leitner (Katya) of Orlando, Florida.; her brother Dr. Jim Rooks (Penny) of Tacoma, Washington.; and her grandchildren, Hailey Perry of Florida, Madison Perry of Florida and Mark Daniel Leitner of Florida.
