She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Tanner and Beth Tanner; and her siblings, Greg Tanner and Mary Beth Hey. She is survived by: her husband John; her son Jonathan of Cullowhee; and her sisters, Louise Mason (Harold) of Hickory, Amy Matheny (Donald) of Nairobi and Leah Morgan (Douglas) of Norwood, Louisiana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
