She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lucille Lamour and Fillmore Litton Gilmer; her husband Ron Phelps of Lake Junaluska; her children, Tracey Boyd of Mountain Brook, Ala, Melissa Cox (Taylor) of Mountain Brook, Carl Marino (Stephanie) of Edgerton, Wisconsin, Greg Phelps (Josie) of Chicago, Illinois and Jill Haltom (James) of Lewisville, Texas; her brothers, Fil Gilmer (Vicki) of Birmingham, Ala and Creed Gilmer of Birmingham, Ala; her grandchildren, Conner, Caitlin, Charlie Boyd, Walker (Mary Claire), Crawford, Taylor, Chandler Cox, Hana Marino, Meredith, Andrew Phelps, Jacy, Evan Haltom and Camden Asher Haltom; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madeline, Mallory, Albi Gilmer (Rachael), John Creed, Kelly, Bryant and Ginger Gilmer; and also, Shaw Gilmer (Heather), Mac and Coe.
