She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Howell and Flora Viola Jones Howell; her husbands, Sidney Mozingo and Roger "Bud" Tillman; and her son William Tillman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Payne (Parrish), Thennie "Tennie" Williams (Timothy) and Pamela Ladd (Charles); and her stepson Charles Mozingo (Linda). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
