He was predeceased by: his grandmother Sharon Lanier; his uncle Stephen "Tony" Emory of Kinston, NC; and his cousin Alisha Ryan of Iowa. He is survived by: his parents, Kurtis Schoen of Ankeny, IA and Kimberly Schoen of Grantsboro, NC.; his brother Skyler Schoen of Holstein, IA; his grandparents, Ronnie Lanier of Oriental, NC and Leiloni Schoen Krenk (Bernard Krenk) of Ida Grove, IA.; his aunts, Wanda Emory, Pam Wurtz of Kinston, NC and Paula Schoen Ryan (Jay); his cousin Nick Ryan (Jen); his uncle Kyle Schoen; his children, Jay and Kylie; his uncle Kendall Schoen (Nancy); and his children, Ben Schoen of Iowa and Rachel Schoen Hoffard (Kenny) of Iowa. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
