He is survived by: his wife Rose Coker Sutton; his daughters, Wanda Sutton Deans (Timothy) and Cathy Sutton; his grandchildren, Jamie Sutton Larsen, Lindsay Deans, Jeremy Sutton (Crystal), Blair Deans Byrnside (Brendan) and Chad Sutton (Stacy); his great grandchildren, Landon Sutton, Ava Larsen, Connor Sutton, Harper Sutton, Mabel Gray Byrnside, Amelia Byrnside, Grayson and Finley Sutton; and his pet Grady.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551).
