He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Herring; his children, Renee (David) and Brent (John); his grandsons, Tyler (Nina) and Justin; his great grandchild Abel; his siblings, Rachel, Lucille, Jimmy (Linda) and Freddy (Diane); and his pet Oreo.
