We bid farewell to Kenneth Earl Koonce Sr. (La Grange, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Kenneth Earl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Koonce and Lillie Haney Koonce; his sister Frances Waters; and his son Kenneth Earl "Little Kenny" Koonce, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife June Koonce; his daughter Yvonne Koonce Donah (Kyle); his grandchildren, Chelsea Evans, Zachary Evans (Paige), Ethan Donah, Richard Donah, Sidney Blair Koonce and Kolby Rae Koonce; his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Rowan; and his siblings, Mildred Parsons, Richard Koonce (Dianne) and Cynthia Johnson.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
