He was predeceased by: his wife Elder Eleanor M. Hunter; his brother Ehphraim Hunter; his daughter Faye Y Hunter Pace; his sisters, Floreta I. Hunter Berry and Gladys L. Hunter Mills; his niece Charlene E. Berry Larry; and his nephew Daniel Berry (Buddy).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas H. Hunter, Larry D. Hunter, Douglas L. Jones, Jr., Dwight A Jackson, Jean A. Anderson, Lynn M. Gregory and Charlotte R. Hunter; and his close friends, Jessie Wallace, Victor Mosley and Douglas L. Jones Sr.. He is also survived by three sister in laws, two brother in laws, 22 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
