The passing of Jimmie Carr Foss Sr. (La Grange, North Carolina), born in Lenoir, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Foss and Nina S. Foss; and his sister Billie Eason. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Foss; his sons, Jimmie Carr Foss, Jr. and Stephen Foss (Shea); his grandchildren, Michelle, Philip Pennington, Jim, Melanie Foss, Cameron, Kaitlyn Foss, Morgan and Sam Chastain; his great grandchildren, Sutton Grace, Brayden, Liam, Marlowe, McKenna, Milo, Harper, Eli and Scarlett; and his brother Creig Foss (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM at the Community Baptist Church (501 S Charles St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (107 N Forbes St, La Grange, NC 28551).
