He is survived by: his sons, Erwin "Ernie" Homer Layden, Jr. and Michael Lee Layden (Jane); his grandchildren, Erwin Homer Layden, III (Melinda), Virginia Elizabeth Graves, Amy Lyerly (Dwayne), Kelly Harris (Josh), Aaron Layden (Brittany), Michael Lee Layden, II (Sarah), Kristina Marie Wilkerson, Katelynn Marie Falcon and Alexander Douglas Layden (Kendra); and his brothers, Griffin Layden and Karroll Layden. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
