It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar Gene Stallings (La Grange, North Carolina), who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Lee and Trudy Edna Gray Stallings; his siblings, Johnnie Lee Stalling, Jr. and Edna Mae Nash; and his son-in-law John Braswell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jo Denmark Stallings; his daughters, Jeannie Lane, Mary Hope Braswell and Allison Stallings Taylor (Jason); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Katie, Will, Austin, Edward and Eliza. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other extended family members friends, and special caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Missionary Baptist Church, 201 N. Caswell Street, La Grange, NC 28551.
