She was predeceased by: her father Sidney Owens; her significant other Edwin Earl "Squirrel" Chase, Sr.; and her siblings, Sidney Owens, Jr. and Billy Owens. She is survived by: her children, Ed Chase, Jr. (Kristel) and Sherry Chase Whaley (Johnnie); her grandchildren, Matthew Chase Whaley (Mandy), Kallie Whaley Bryant (Trey), Trey Chase (Taylor), Rebecca Jean Chase, David Ray Chase and Madeline Rose Chase; her great grandchildren, Taylor Chase Whaley, Peyton James Whaley and Percival Alexander Chase; and her sister Linda Owens Jones.
