It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Wheeler Ward of La Grange, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Wheeler and Charity Moore Wheeler; her husband Dr. John Charles Ward; and her grandson David James Ward. She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Ward (Julie), Dave Ward and Jim Ward (Valarie); her grandchildren, Blythe Swaim (Destry), John Ward (Ashley), Elizabeth Ward, Ryan Ward, Jamie Ward, Justin Ward and Garrett Ward; her great grandchildren, Rowan, Jack and Brooks; her brother Henry Wheeler (Leslie); and her daughter-in-law Deborah Ward.
