He is survived by: his daughter Jaimie Phelps (Taylor); his grandchildren, Raelyn and Olivia Phelps of La Grange; his brothers, William "Bib" Howard (Peggy) of La Grange, Cecil Howard (Pam) of Goldsboro and Donald "Buzzy" Lutter; his nephew William; his pet Howard (Tammy); his niece Loretta Sasser of LaGrange; his close friends, Ronnie Jones and Baxter "Little Bac" Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Alberta Howard and Sandra Herring (Gerald).
