She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Cora Hope Hughes Pelletier; her children, Johnnie C. Edwards, Cary Glen Edwards and Delmar Kay Edwards; her former husband Gerald Carson Edwards; and her nephew Royce Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Edwards (Tina) and Betty Hope Edwards; her grandchildren, Danielle S. Holland, Adam Cole Edwards, Dalton Edwards and Josh Cavenaugh; her sisters, Linda Goodwin and Sarah Woodard; her nieces, Yvonne Seaman, Jessie Potter and Bonnie Gray; and her nephew Randy Gray. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
