It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Wallace Gibbs (La Grange, North Carolina), born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her fathers, Ralph Wallace and Kinston; her husband Donald Seawell Gibbs; her brother Horace Wallace; and her nephews, Bob and Steven Wallace.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Maureen Turner, Audrey Sprott of Cary, Kevin Wallace (Trish) of Virginia Beach, Elizabeth Allen of Seven Springs, Michael Wallace of Seven Springs and Maxine Wallace of Seven Springs; and her caregivers, Ann Thompson, Geneva Hardy, Ona Lee Herring and Terry Norville.
