She was predeceased by: her parent Adlai Carroll; and her brother Edward Alphonso Walters. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Lee Hobbs; her children, Jimmy Lee Hobbs, Jr., Karen Hobbs Rouse (Steve) and Michael Edward Hobbs (Laurie Atkins); and her grandchildren, Collin Lee Hobbs, Trent Thigpen (Brooke), Jake Rouse, Mackenzie Rouse Thompson (Logan), Jasper Hobbs and Jonah Hobbs.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, 501 South Charles Street, La Grange, NC 28551.
