It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Marie Hodges (Knotts Island, North Carolina), born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on April 5, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Martin "Marky" David Hodges; and her siblings, Gloria Jean Mayhew and James Paul Beeman. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Lee Hodges (Wendy), Melissa D. Burkett and James M. Hodges; her siblings, Paula Sue Beaver, Judy Sayers, Teresa Yurt, Linda Mullins, Shirley Scott, Shelby Hanson, Michael Beeman and Johnny Beeman; her grandchildren, Tina, Jennifer, Rick, Martin, Kristin, Clayton and Keegan; and her great grandchildren, Diamond, Hailey, Alyssa, Charlie, Savannah, Zoey, Emma and Wyatt.
