It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ann Wolfe (Knotts Island, North Carolina), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby White Davis and Charles "Jack" Davis; her husband Thomas James Wolfe; her son Michael J. Poff; and her sister Grace E. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ann Tando of Knotts Island, Sheila Marie Huber (Thomas) of Knotts Island, Jack Lewis Poff (Marie) of Knotts Island and Richard Kevin Poff (Anna) of Suffolk; her daughter-in-law Dana Poff of Norfolk; her siblings, Charles S Davis Jr., Glenn R. Davis (Tonine), Roger L. Davis, Ralph E. Davis (Donna), Jackie L. Davis (Jack), Brenda K. Twiford and Linda S. Davis; and her grandchildren, Darnell, Tonya, Jennifer, Kristen, Richard Jr., Michael Jr., Shannon and Amanda. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
