It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Edward Laffey Sr. of Knotts Island, North Carolina, born in Brewer, Maine, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laffey and Marion Laffey; and his siblings, John (Joe) and Sally. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn E. Laffey (Turoczy) of Knotts Island, NC; his grandchildren, Katherine (Laura Jean), Katie, Christina (Cassell), Josie, Caroline (Ben), Jake, Josh and Joey; and his great grandchildren, Silas, Henry, Hudson and Cameron.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be directed in Brian's memory to The Navy SEAL Foundation.
