He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Smith, Sr. and Rosa Dell Potter Smith; his former wife Linda Jones Smith; and his sister Janice Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Glover Smith; his children, Mendy Moody (Lee) and Michael Smith (Christal); his grandchildren, Amber McMichen, Bobbie Moody, Kaitlynn Smith, Stephanie Massey (Dylan), Gregory Smith, Collin Smith, Olivia Smith and Valerie Smith; his great grandchildren, Avery McMichen, Heidi Massey, Audrey Hobgood and Ethan Massey; and his sister-in-law Celia Glover. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
