She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Bruce Nichols; her parents, Noah David Yount and Rena Bertie Simmons Yount; and her daughter-in-law Angela Nichols. She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Daniel Bruce Nichols (Shannon) of Blythewood and David R. Nichols of Knightdale, NC; and her brother John David Yount (Geiger) of Duluth, MN. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Crossing Community Church (2831 Clemson Rd, Columbia, SC 29229). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens (Stadium Dr, North Charleston, SC 29406).
