He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kunha and Chanh; his wife Sai; and his children, Kaychak Phanethong, Prasith Phanethong and Souksanh Phanethong. He was also cherished by many grandchildren; and a host of special friends.
He was a member of various Lao Associations and made many contributions to help build temples throughout the country and abroad.
