He was predeceased by: his father Clay Vernon Mills. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Roope Mills; and his siblings, Dianna Mills Prince (David), Lisa Mills Shelton (Brian) and Danny Lee Mills (Marcy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted but the family would prefer that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to either Bethlehem Baptist Church or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
