He was predeceased by: his parents, Vierce Edward Himmel and Eleanor Musgrove Himmel; his wife Patricia Himmel; and his granddaughter Allison Himmel. He is survived by: his sons, Michael "Mikie" Himmel (Georgia) and Robert "Rob" Himmel (Carol); his grandson Austin Himmel; his sister Sue Edwards; and his close friend Becky Ives.
