He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Robert Craven; his brother Larry Craven; and his close friend Rhonda Dean. He is survived by: his daughter April Hand (Kevin); his mother Becky Craven; his sister Teressa Craven Underhill (Archie); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Craven. He is also survived by nieces; as well as great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wake Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Gentiva (hospice).
