He is survived by: his children, Christopher Smith, Sue Hicks (Ken), Jason Rudder (Cynthia), Kaitlyn Borden and Savannah Gaydon; his grandchildren, Kimber Hicks, Kyle Rains, Cameron Rudder and Collins Oliver; his sister-in-law Angela Smith; his nieces, Heather Smith Bunn and Dawn Borden; and his nephew Brandon Smith. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and many special cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
