It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regetta Jeanette Petrone (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Hempstead, New York, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lawrence Zaino and Mary Margaret Rowlands Zaino; her husband Frank Joseph Petrone; her granddaughter Christine P. Morning; and her siblings, Fred Zaino, Charles Zaino and Dorothy Z. Familette.
She is survived by: her children, Frank J. Petrone, Jr. (Mary), Robert A. Petrone of Raleigh, NC, Leonard C. Petrone (Elisa) of Mastic, NY and Diane P. Sheehan (Vincent) of Knightdale, NC; and her grandchildren, George J. Slater, Frank Petrone, Jaime A. Craft, Vincent J. Sheehan, Jr., Robert Petrone, Evan Petrone, Stephanie Petrone and Leonard Petrone. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund in memory of Regetta.
