The memory of Rebecca Leonard of Knightdale, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace G. Smith and Vara Flowers Smith; and her sister Donna Smith Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Karl E. Leonard of Knightdale; her children, Caleb Leonard (Kelli Leonard) of Zebulon, NC, Christa Wilkerson (Matthew Wilkerson) of Knightdale and Kari Leonard of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, Vida Hall (Rick Hall) of Raleigh, NC and Wallace G. Smith Jr. (Cindy Smith) of Rocky Mount, NC; her brother-in-law Glenn Johnson of Raleigh, NC; and her grandchildren, Hannah Wilkerson of Knightdale, NC, Lucas Wilkerson of Knightdale, NC, Andrew Leonard of Zebulon, NC, Colby Leonard of Zebulon, NC, Nathan Leonard of Zebulon, NC and Cooper Leonard of Zebulon, NC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hephzibah Baptist Church of Wendell, NC, or Transitions Hospice Facility in Raleigh, NC, are being accepted in honor of Becky's memory.
