He was predeceased by: his father Randolph Straughn; and his brothers, Lewis Straughn and Jimmy Straughn. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Straughn of Virginia; his son Chadwick Lee Straughn; and his stepchildren, Pam Yarbrough (Jackie), Floyd, Jr., Frederick and Billy Joe Burkett. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
