He was predeceased by: his father Frank Terry. He is survived by: his mother Becky Terry; his wife Kim; his daughter Chelsea; his siblings, Kim (Rod) and Stevie (Jeff); his stepmother Jeanette; his father-in-law Phillip Ray Leonard; his brothers-in-law, Jonathan Leonard (Amber) and Joshua Leonard (Sarah); his nieces and nephews, Ethan Gurganus (Caroline), Maxwell, Joshua, Jacob, Jaxson, Maci Woolard (Colby), BreAnna and Daphnie; his great-nieces, Kentley and Ellie; his pet Ruger; and his close friends, Tony Lawrence, Lisa Lee and Susan Wall. He is also survived by many friends, co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund for his daughter, Chelsea Taylor Terry c/o SECU, Zebulon. You may go to any SECU and make a donation.

“Philip and I were longtime friends through high school. I will always remember the good times from just hanging out to going on late night rides towing cars for his dad’s business to Myrtle Beach at spring break to hanging out at Fall Village every Friday and Saturday night showing off our cars and burn outs just waiting to see where the next party would be. We always talked about reconnecting when we would meet at funerals, we’ll that day never came. One of my biggest regrets. RIP Phil!”
