He was predeceased by: his father Paul Henry Schulz, Sr.; his former wife Patricia Ann Lloyd Schulz; his sister Theone S. Secord; and his granddaughter Nicole Ann Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Taylor Schulz; his children, Paul Henry Schulz III (Stephen Cronk), Scott Lloyd Schulz (Michele), Carrie S. Johnson (Len) and John Henry King, Jr. (Teresa); his grandchildren, Britney Linn Johnson, Hannah Cierra Schulz, Keelie Nicole Johnson, Zachary King, Alyssa King Anderson and Breanna Marie Smith; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Eva, Jackson, Kaylee Ann and Braxton.
