He is survived by: his wife Emily Kornegay; his children, Stephanie Belcher (Stoney) of Kinston, NC, Shaunelle Tharpe of Knightdale, NC, Rebecca Knight (Aaron), Beverly Knight (Joshua), Shauna Tharpe of Wake Forest and Jeremy Tharpe (Jasmine) of Clayton, NC; his siblings, Linda Buckram of Raleigh, NC, Joy Massey (Harry), Deborah Dhesi (late Joe), Easter Carol Buckram, Christine Buckram of Deep Run, NC, Eronger Kornegay II (late Verna) of Raleigh, NC, Howard Kornegay (late Sarah) of Rocky Mount, NC, Donald Buckram (Delia), Larry Buckram of High Point, NC and Don; his sister-in-law Yolanda Kizer of Hinesville, GA; his grandchildren, Joshua Kornegay, Cecil Montague, Jr., Elijah Kornegay, Zachariah Williams, Aniyah Williams and Heru Brockenberry; his niece Jessica; his nephew Justin Buckram; and his great-nephew Justin Buckram, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives & friends.
