We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2022, at the age of 54, Melissa Fawn Hester (Knightdale, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Rockey Abram Hester III. She is survived by: her siblings, Rockey Abram Hester IV (Leslie), Charlene H. Strickland (Larry) and Nancy H. Blanton (Scott); her significant other Gene Evans; her pets, Zeke and Phoebe; her nephews, Justin Strickland, Daniel Story (Julie), Allen Story (Meredith) and Rockey A. "Quint" Hester V; her niece Emma Hester; and her aunt Jean Hester Wood. She is also survived by three great nieces and three great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local SPCA in Melissa's memory.
