She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph O'Neal and Mary O'Neal; and her siblings, Shirley of Joseph Woodrow, Marion Faye and Jimmy Ray.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Martin; her sons, Mike Basden (Betty) of Bunn, NC, Jeff Nethercutt (Belinda) of Westfield, NC and Joe Nethercutt (Brooke) of Middlesex, NC; her grandchildren, Nicole Basden, Tyler Hutcherson, Breanna Hutcherson and Amber Pelky; her great grandchildren, Archer Pelky, Avin Pelky, Uriah Hutcherson and Jadan Hutcherson; and her sister Lynda Williams (John) of Prince Frederick, MD..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy V Foundation (www.v.org) as they fund "Game-Changing" research and "All-Star" scientists to accelerate Victory Over Cancer and save lives.
