We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 92, Marie Wrenn Wiggs (Knightdale, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Wrenn and Margie Wrenn; her husband Joseph Pippen Wiggs; her children, Michael Wayne Wiggs and Jeannie Marie Wiggs Medlin; and her siblings, Lucy Helen Wrenn Jackson, Elsie Mae Wrenn Joyner, Ollie Jack Wrenn, Jr., Maurice Stanley Wrenn, William Arthur Wrenn and Bertha "Lucille" Alford.
She is survived by: her son Joesph Lee Wiggs (Becky); her son-in-law David Medlin; her grandchildren, Joseph "Andy" Anton Wiggs (Julia), Samuel Aaron Wiggs (Amy), Kenneth Joseph Chestnut (Heidi), Richard Wiggs Chestnut (Amy) and Brittany Medlin Perkins (Kyle); and her brother Russell Timothy Wrenn. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545).
