It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Evans (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Norwood James Talton; and her brother James Talton. She is survived by: her husband Warren Francis Evans; her son Jay Warren Evans (Christa); her grandchildren, Wyatt Evans and Paige Evans; her daughter Kelly Gray Evans Peele (Tommy); her grandchildren, Meredith Peele and Morgan Peele; her sister Barbara King (Gene); her nephews, Chadd King (Amy) and David Talton; her niece Cindy Golden (Mike); and her sister-in-law Debbie Sturtevant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
