She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Buddy Strickland and Luna Boyette Strickland; her granddaughter Brittany Denise Boykin; and her brothers, Bennett Strickland, Coleman Strickland and James Strickland.
She is survived by: her husband Warren Boykin; her sons, Warren Brent Boykin (Sonya) and Wesley Kimbry Boykin (Wendy); her grandson Nicholas "Nick" Boykin; her brother Grady Strickland (Faye); and also Faye Boykin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
