We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2022, at the age of 86, Leonard Rose Vinson (Knightdale, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph William Vinson; and his siblings, Jake, Elmer, Daphney, Margaret, Dorothy, Ernestine, Maurice, Rex, Bennett and Iris.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances; his sons, Leonard "Sonny" Rose Vinson, Jr. (Tammie), Harold Neil Vinson (Tamara) and Matthew Leslie Vinson (Virginia Ann); his grandchildren, Christian, Allie, Will, Jessica, Margaret, Blake and Leslie; and his sister Barbara Vinson Hayes.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church.
