Landon Lee Johnson Obituary

Landon Lee Johnson, born August 8, 2006, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Landon was a senior at Cleveland High School. He had plans to graduate this year and talked often about applying for App State or NC State College in the fall. He loved racing cars with Papa, hunting with his step-dad and brothers, fishing and golfing with his big brother or his dad, playing ball with his friends, skiing with his dad, riding four wheelers and getting muddy. He loved his Cookout, Bojangles, Zaxbys, ice cream, milkshakes and Trolli Worms. He was loved by so many people in his life, and he loved back fiercely. But most of all, his love was strongest with the Lord. Though his time on earth was cut short, he left a long standing impact on anyone who ever crossed paths with him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Cross Point Community Church, 1001 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 12830 US 70 Business HWY W, Clayton.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the church.

He is survived by his mother, Amanda Miller and step-father, Christopher of Zebulon; his father, Barry Henderson of Mebane; his grandparents: Kelly and Barb Moore of Garner, Mary Lynn O'Malley of Knightdale, Larry and Wendy Henderson of Florida, Bob & Jan Hallisey of Knightdale, Mike and Cathy Miller of Knightdale; his brothers: Hayden Peacock, Skyler and Elijah Miller; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by a sister he never got to meet, Cheyenne; great-grandparents and great-uncle.
